CALL FOR BIDS


SPOKANE COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT #5 SURPLUS PUMPER & TANKER FOR SALE by sealed bid.  Closing Bid date is Friday July 24, 2015 at 5pm.  Per the terms of the District’s original FEMA grant for the purchase of this equipment, the District is unable to sell  to you if you are a Government Fire Entity. SCFD#5 reserves the right to accept or decline any and all bids.  Equipment can be inspected by appointment only by contacting Larry Wendlandt at l.wendlandt@scfd5.org.  Please mail your bid to : SCFD#5 Call for Bids, 17217 W. Statements: 1) SCFD5 Board has passed a resolution declaring the property to be surplus to the needs of the district. 2) The purchaser will be afforded the opportunity to examine and test the equipment and accepts it in its present condition. 3)  The district makes no express or implied warranty that the equipment meets any recognized standard or even that the equipment is for the purpose or use intended.  4)  The district disclaims any warranties, either express or implied. 5) Purchaser will read all statements and will accept the equipment under the conditions stated. 6)  The vehicles and/or equipment do not meet OSHA, WISHA OR NFPA standards.

Vehicle #1 Red Tanker, 1994 Freightliner FLD120, N14 Cummins Engine, 663,198 miles, Super 10 speed transmission, jake brake, 2600 gallon baffled tank, Forrest Service specs, 10” rear dump, front/side/rear/ sprays, power hose reel, T51 Berkeley Pump, cab air controlled.

Vehicle #2 Yellow Pumper, 1975 Ford 8000 American LaFrance, 3208 cad engine, 5 speed transmission, 1250 g/p/m pump, 46,448 miles, 4004 hours.
